01
The problem I saw
An appointment enquiry can arrive while staff are busy. The customer may wait, leave, or miss a later callback. A calendar alone does not show who asked, what they needed, or why the booking stopped.
02
What I built
The public tour has four steps. A visitor sends one guided message to the AI front desk, opens a no-login booking page, reviews the owner dashboard, and opens a lead record. The demo can save a booked consult, staff handoff, or recovery outcome. Clinical, legal, refund, safety, and other edge cases route to a person. The dashboard and landing-page chat use example data and do not represent a live customer account.
03
What I learned
A booking product needs to show the full trail, not just the final calendar event. The owner must see what was captured, handed off, booked, and followed up.
PAIN POINTS
What the product addresses
- Slow replies during peak operating hours
- Booking intent lost across message threads
- Customers forced from familiar chat into unfamiliar software
DECISIONS
Decisions that shaped it
- Start with WhatsApp and chat enquiries before adding phone answering.
- Let a customer book without creating an account.
- Keep the conversation, booking, follow-up, and owner view in one trail.
- Send sensitive or uncertain cases to staff with the earlier context attached.
LEFT OUT
What I deliberately did not build
- A generic calendar with WhatsApp used only for notifications.
- A bot that answers clinical or legal questions without a staff handoff.
MEASURES
What I would measure
- Time from the first enquiry to the first useful reply.
- Enquiries that reach a confirmed appointment.
- Sensitive cases routed to staff before an unsafe answer.
- Missed appointments that return to a booking slot.
TRANSFER
Where this may transfer
The current product starts with WhatsApp and chat because that is where the pilot flow is designed to receive intent. A new market still needs its own approved scripts, handoff rules, and channel test.
EVIDENCE AND BOUNDARIES
What this note is based on
- Visible on bookflow.iangoh.com on 21 July 2026: a four-step tour, guided AI front desk, no-login booking page, read-only dashboard, lead detail, and staff handoff rules.
- The site labels the dashboard and recovery report as demo or example data. I did not inspect a live pilot, owner login, message delivery, voice answering, customer records, or recovered revenue.
