01

The problem I saw

A church or group organiser needs more than a gallery. They need capacity, room types, rates, packing details, house rules, directions, and a booking path. The retreat story also matters because this is not a generic hotel.

02

What I built

The page opens with the Kokol setting and the retreat's founding story. A visitor can then review day use, facilities, a gallery, ten named rooms, rates, packing guidance, rules, directions, and reservation details. Day use and overnight options have separate prices and conditions. The path ends with booking and contact information.

03

What I learned

A venue page earns trust through practical detail. The story works better when the visitor can also see exactly what a stay requires.

PAIN POINTS

What the product addresses

  • Venue information scattered across informal channels
  • Unclear room and day-use options
  • A meaningful local institution presented like generic inventory

DECISIONS

Decisions that shaped it

  • Place the retreat story before the room inventory.
  • Show day use as a distinct visit rather than hiding it under accommodation.
  • Keep rates, capacities, packing needs, and house rules visible before booking.

LEFT OUT

What I deliberately did not build

  • A photo-led page that hides rates and conditions until contact.
  • Presenting the retreat as a full-service hotel.

MEASURES

What I would measure

  • Visitors who reach rates after viewing facilities or rooms.
  • Reservation enquiries that include group size and visit type.
  • Questions about details already covered by packing or rules sections.

EVIDENCE AND BOUNDARIES

What this note is based on

  • Visible on the public Praise Mountain site on 21 July 2026: the founding story, day-use offer, ten room labels, rates, packing list, bilingual house rules, directions, and reservation path.
  • The venue facts and terms are self-published. I did not visit the property, submit a reservation, verify availability, confirm legal terms, or independently confirm prices and history.
